History
Christina was born in Melbourne and began writing songs while at school in the bayside area. After studying music at Melbourne University (including composition and an in-depth study of the music of the Medieval period) she continued to develop songwriting and performance skills focused on the guitar from around 1990.
The opportunity for further study took her to London in 1993, where she qualified and worked as a music therapist, and continued to write, record and perform as an independent artist. Her first CD 'Dreaming Me' was self-produced in London in 1998.
As well as working solo Christina has been a composer/musician in fringe theatre, organised group shows with other singer-songwriters and poets, and played in bands in both Melbourne and London.
In September 2000 she returned to Australia and is once again based in Melbourne, began to establish a performing base on the acoustic circuit, and to promote her second CD 'Separation Street'.

Always exploring and expanding, her songs draw on style elements from folk, country, rock/punk, blues and jazz, with an emphasis on craft and lyrics. She currently performs solo with acoustic and semi-acoustic guitars.
